For a book so focused on social infrastructure, I wish Klienenberg had interrogated the great works specific individuals can do more in the final section.

A lot of interesting information, especially the historical anecdotes. A lot of the big concepts were not new to me, but that might have been because I had a fair academic focus on adjacent topics in college. A good intro, would be interesting to hear the author’s thoughts in the post-pandemic world.
