Following everything that I had learned about J.K. Rowling, I was apprehensive when I started reading this book. Luckily, I managed to separate the author from the book and I thoroughly enjoyed finally reading the last instalment in this magical series.
I thought that the build-up of the story was wonderful. All the 'mini climaxes' leading up to the final climax kept the book fast-paced and exciting and made it a difficult book to put down. I also loved how the different characters' arcs finally came to an end. Moreover, I thought it was fantastic how actions truly have consequences and the deaths gave the story a sense of realism and helped to build the tension.
My only two real negatives are that the epilogue raised more questions than answering them and that a certain character's redemption was handled rather clumsily. Fortunately, these did not impact my overall enjoyment of the story too much.

J'ai longtemps redouté cette lecture, pendant plus de dix ans. J'avais peur de finir cette histoire qui m'a accompagné dans ma vie. Je n'avais pas autant pleuré depuis longtemps. Tous les noeuds qui se démêlaient au fur et à mesure des éclairs de compréhension d'Harry étaient incroyables à suivre. Je pense que c'est l'un des meilleurs livres de la saga, des plus complets et des plus riches.
