Loved it.
All six chapters were interesting but the last one was the weakest to me and it is the reason for 4/5 rating.
Had me thinking about my bookish friends and their slightly weird ideas about books and the keeping of books.

I've bought this book last year at Marsonikon, a science fiction convention in Slavonski Brod (Croatia), from a little book stand Čudna knjižara (Weird bookstore) from Novi Beograd (Serbia) alongside another book which i bought only because i loved its illustration at the front cover :D

The owner of the stand was a really nice elder man and we had a nice chat about his stand and store. He had his preschool son with him and he told me he's going to work with his dad at the store and stand one day.
Before i left with my books he asked me politely if he may know why did i bought Biblioteka (The Library)?
I'm a book lover and a librarian and most of all i like books about books.
Oh, he said, well i don't like that book and i don't understand why did it get a World Fantasy Award in 2003. when there was a lot more books that deserved that award.
I was having a feeling that he really really really didn't want me to go home with that book not to mention reading it.

I love it when i find these hidden miracles in the vast world of books that no one heard or read about or read at all!

For more than a year i thought to myself should i even tell anyone about it? Maybe i should keep it a secret!

I never made a book list but if i ever did this one would be in my top 100 or even 10.

When i read it and after each story i had to pause a day to think about it my mind was blown away every time, how is it possible that no one else before didn't write anything like this when it's so obvious! FFS how come i didn't?! I had the same thoughts about everything the author did and wrote in the book, bloody hell, he did an amazing job if you ask me, so simple yet amazingly mighty.
