Such a beautiful Greek myth retelling and the smutty parts were so well done. I'm not a fan of overly flowery smut and this was perfect with no sword-in-velvet sheath nonsense, if you know what I mean lol. Also the smut actually made sense in the storyline! It added to the plot and wasn't just an afterthought, so A+ for smuttyness.

Tiffany Reisz has done it again - this story left me gasping and spellbound. The way she wound Greek mythology into the modern world with oh-so scintillating erotica is somehow educational, captivating, sexy, and brilliant. Bravo!

I received a free ARC via NetGalley in exchange for a honest review.

I'm sorry to say I wasn't crazy about this one. It was too far fetched, I didn't care for all the fantasy aspects. Maybe it just wasn't my type of book although I have enjoyed others by Tiffany Reisz. My thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for providing a digital galley of this book for review.

As always, another winner!

A little cheesy but I still thoroughly enjoyed it. Such great chemistry.

it's just been like a while since i cared to pick this up like i got the gist of it meg it's chill we're good i don't need to finish your erotic fantasy novel it's fine... also i'm trying to be better at letting things go when they just aren't happening so. this book. anyway. meg shaffer i love your career i love how you got started writing fantasy porn and then decided what was truly in your heart were whimsical books that reference classic children's literature and have a hopeful swag <3 you will always be famous to me :)

i like learning/exploring mythology this way lol. I was kinda lost throughout on the time period bc she was a lady and the vernacular was old english like and yet she had an iphone. Im so down w the mindset of finding someone DTFMEL (down to fund my entire life)
i knew august was eros since he mentioned eros had relations with a cloud and then it was confirmed when she called out to eros when with Poseidon and he said he heard her. Didn't realize his mom was Aphrodite tho. I appreciated that we started w losing virginity. Loved the ch w Achilles and Patroclus and Briseis the most. I wished they gender swapped when she was eros and he was psyche. The reveal that he had sacrificed his life to his parents for her was so sad. I dont like how after that she doesnt call him eros, like that is not august bowman. Idk how she grew up w freak parents lol. Also why add in that she has brothers if they were at boarding school the whole time.
