Not quite as fun as that one time I got to hear Neil Gaiman read this live, but still really good.

Probably the most beautiful and elaborate panel work I’ve ever seen in comics so far. The art is so good easily reccomend to anyone studying art.
Though it’s very short and more of a fairy tale with a simple story, but I enjoyed the plot enough. I think the main draw is the art but the fairy tale story is still entertaining. It has a nice cozy vibe that I enjoyed. I really can’t say anything bad about this besides maybe the story and the narration is way too show don’t tell. But ig that’s the style it’s going for like your reading an old fairy tale?

“… and she put it on the mantlepiece in her parlor, where it sat between a small soulful China Basset Hound and a photograph of her late husband, Henry, on the beach at Frinton in 1953.”
