I LOVED THIS BOOK SO MUCH!! I put off reading it for a while because I was scared it wasn’t going to live up to how much I loved Last Call at the Local but I realize now how stupid of me that was. This book was phenomenal and I didn’t want to stop reading it. THE PINING and emotion in this book had me in a complete chokehold. I just needed these character to BE TOGETHER!!!! Ollie and Nina have been in this weird casual marriage of convenience situation for nine years where they both love each other but Nina is too scared of loosing Ollie to actually commit to him. Finally, Ollie gives Nina an ultimatum saying that unless she admits she’s in love with him and fully commits to their marriage, he’s leaving for good. Romance books that have a thread of sadness running through them are what I LIVE for. please go read this book if you haven’t already!!!! Time for me to pick up Love, Lists & Fancy Ships (yes I’m aware I’m reading this series backwards)

This was a near love for me, which is a surprise. The heroine is one that I wouldn't normally care for due to the snarky, occasionally grumpy nature of her personality. This kind of character is hard to pull off when it's the heroine, especially when paired with a cinnamon roll hero. But Grunder Ruiz makes it work with a hero that gives snark right back.

This was an incredibly realistic story. I understand why some don't like it b/c it doesn't necessarily carry some of the lighter fun that many contemporaries do. There's definitely angst but not in a melodramatic way. Most characters feel unbelievable to me b/c writers are instilling the best versions of humans. The maturity, growth, and work in self development rarely happens with real life people. Most are never that self aware. But Ollie and Nina behave in a totally believable way and in a timespan that actually is believable too.

I really respected Nina's growth and journey. And I loved Ollie's ability to communicate so well. His emotional intelligence is incredible. Throw in a unique workplace environment like a super yacht and interesting jobs and what's not to like about this book.

I am a new Grunder Ruiz fan and would absolutely read this entire series. (I didn't realize this was a second in a  series until after the fact.)

I will never look at Settlers of Catan or pizza rolls the same way again. I love board games and mini pizza, but this book has made me love those things even more. Cute cute cute this book was. I love that by chapter four there was already a twist, and it really set up the rest of the book to feel different from so many romance novels. If you love Below Deck, you're going to absolutely want to anchor down and sink yourself into this read. I also loved listening to this on audiobook because the narrator does a very fun Irish accent for Ollie.

Loved this! A former gymnast and grumpy Irish chef struggle to come to terms with their feelings while getting up to hilarious shenanigans. Just delightful!

This was really fun. I enjoyed the boat setting of everything as well as the second chance commit or move on situation.

I received an ecopy of this book through Netgalley; however, my opinions are my own.
