This is, thus far, my favourite story by Agatha Christie. To me, it was much more than a detective novel/murder mystery. The body count in this story struck and shocked me at the same time. It felt more like a thriller from the first couple of pages onwards and kept beeing immensely exciting throughout the whole plot. I could not lay it down, especially during the last ca. 50 pages. And as always with Christie, I never suspected the person who eventually turned out to be the murderer. On top of that, I truly enjoyed that there was also a romance in this story. Highly recommend!

A solid Agatha Christie - bit far fetched in places but a decent mystery.

I’m going back to Poirot!
I have to admit the last 100 pages were good and I managed to get through the end very quickly. However the beginning of the murders and the telling of the story was dragged out with no real development until the end. Slightly disappointed with this one!
