This book was gearing up to be my favourite of this series so far. The relationship was my favourite of the three I’ve read. I loved Alistair a lot! Everything was going great except for the actual plot—Cora trying to find her brother—being really underwhelming and the treatment of her brother as a character really disappointing. The ending unfortunately left a bad taste in my mouth.
