as a person who finds bits in pieces of herself in everything she reads i have to say that i didn't see myself in this book. there was not much to draw me into the "people" who drove the story and i think that's why i had some issues...

this is an excellently written novel. the first and third sections are like fresh pineapple; whereas the second section is like the slices it makes on the inside of your mouth. enjoyable with a price.
