Now that I’ve re-read it (twice) and catalogued all the changes, expect a video in the next couple days. 

I will say, I do think the new edition is an improvement to the original.

Heavily character driven, but I always like a good morally grey character (and this has multiple!), with a very loose plot. It kinda reads like YA imo, similar to Deadly Education, and has the same vibes as Umbrella Academy. I liked the development of each of their magical abilities as we learn more about them. It definitely meanders in the first bit and the last 30-50 pages are PACKED. There are also lots of loose ends left, but I’m assuming that will come up in the second book. I can see why this book is so divisive, but overall an entertaining read
