I always find that I struggle with reviewing translation works, because i always worry things were lost in translation and I am not a credible reader to be imparting thoughts onto this work (that i initially would not be able to read).

short stories are also something i challenge myself with, because i rarely ever feel connected to them for whatever reason it may be.

these were stories that scattered across so many different experiences, my attention really struggled with slowing down and reading each story. might need to revisit at some point.

The lives of Indian women are so difficult, Banu and Deepa have poured so much heart into every story. I love this book more than I have loved anything.
