Low angst, high heat, just a warm, cozy read that I mostly loved falling into! It did feel a little preachy at 2 points, where the discussion of polyamory and other queer relationships felt explainy in tone and not conversational - once in the middle and then again at the end. But overall this was a quick, fun novella from a favorite author.

This is another new author I wanted to try out, and someone referred this one to me. It was on KU, so I figured, why not?

This book talks a lot about the queer community, and while it may be mentioned a few times more than necessary, I still liked the book.

Paige is a wedding planner, and she's planning the wedding of 2 of her best friends. Flora and Beau are getting married, and have been very difficult to pick a venue. They end up snowed in together at a cabin in their latest attempt, and that's where all is revealed.

There aren't too many F/F books out there, and this is an MFF. I think the story was absolutely great. I loved the character-building and ended up really liking all 3 of them.

There are some past/present tense issues in the beginning, but it gets better afterward. No 3rd act breakup and a lot of actual discussion after the first smut scene. I've noticed a lot of times after the "big scene" happens all the characters spend the rest of the story in bed, so this was a nice change.

3.75 rounded up to 4 star read.

I wish this story was more fleshed out. It works as a novella but I wanted more depth and more character building!
The conflict between the Beau and Flora was never fully addressed and I felt like it went mainly unresolved. When it was formally addressed I feel as if it wasn’t even that huge as you could see it from the first chapter.
Paige was a lovely character but I felt as if she was more into Flora than Beau. A lot of the feel good moments happened between Paige and Flora and I felt bad for Beau.
I really loved the idea of this love triangle but I think the execution fell off course for me because of the lack of slow burn.

If Kathryn Nolan writes it, I read it. She has the special ability to make me feel deeply for each and every single character she writes and they become like friends to me. This has the perfect smutty festive feelings I crave, with three queer friends (enter bisexual panic). I am so used to read MMF, that a FFM was refreshing and awesomely written. And I do love my polyam romances. So, yeah, go read this and thank me later.
