5/5 Ugh, Bea is such an exceptional writer!! I have loved every story more and more! Dalton and Daisy were not a couple I would have expected, but as you read the book, you can feel the chemistry and change between them!! What they both endured is heartbreaking, but it brought two halves of one soul together. The ending was everything and I am so happy Dalton ditched Carl and Daisy got her happily ever after!

This was a wonderful read, and I’m so happy with the direction of this new series and the characters we’re seeing here and teased for the future books. Daisy loves her brother Drix with her whole heart. She’s been let down by life so hard and he’s been there for her. She’s agreed to an arranged marriage and to produce an heir so he can be free of his debt. Marrying a man she loathes wasn’t on her bingo card though. Dalton is a playboy. That’s the only side of him anyone ever sees. Forcing these two together allows Daisy to see him as a caretaker, and the development and growth of both main characters is truly amazing. The transformation and the communication blew me away. They never lose their spark or fire, but they really dig deep. Their HEA is something they work for, showing that a partnership in a marriage can make the relationship flourish and succeed. Truly this is one worth picking up. I can’t wait for the next book.
