THIS. BOOK!!! This book drew so many emotions out of me. So. Many. Emotions!!! It's up there as one of my favourite reads of 2024. I just knew I was going to love Daisy and Dalton and their story definitely did not disappoint. This was a journey for them both and it was beautiful to read them as they grew and developed together. It was raw and emotional in places but these two were endgame despite hating each other at first. The enemies to lovers, on point, the spice, more than on point, the connection and character development between Daisy and Dalton, on point. I can't recommend this book enough!

This is second book in the Princetown Heirs series, is a captivating addition to her universe. As a fan of Paige's work, I eagerly anticipated Daisy and Dalton's story following the compelling narrative of Drix and Lia. While I found their tale to be a very good read, I hoped for a touch more intensity and obsession that was hinted at in the first book. It seems as if they have been pining for each other for years and therefore despise each other and ruin each other's relationships or dates, but that is not entirely the case. I missed the 'obsessive' a bit.
Nonetheless, the story beautifully explores Daisy's resilience and the bond she forms with Dalton amidst their shared pain. Dalton's father adds a compelling layer of complexity, making him a character you'll love to hate. Overall, Paige delivers another great installment, leaving me eagerly awaiting Sterling's story next.

Was kindly given an ARC of this book for an honest review.
This is the second book in the Princetown Heirs series and follows Daisy, who is Drix's sister and Dalton, who is his best friend. This is a marriage of convenience/contract, enemies to lovers and the spice is spicing!!! I loved the character development within this book, both Daisy and Dalton had their demons and worked through these issues together. There is a miscarriage within the story so TW with that but it is dealt with sympathetically and very realistically. This book is soooooo spicy and I was here for it! Dalton is a dirty boy and I loved it haha! I enjoyed the interactions with the other characters within the series and cannot wait for book 3 to come out!

Eeeeeeekkkk I’ve been so excited for Dalton and Daisy’s story since they were first mentioned in book one! This was so freaking amazing! It was somehow even better than I had expected and was even better than Drix and Lia’s book. I love the ability that Bea has to make me sob like a baby. I know that’s an odd thing to love but she’s just so great at pulling these emotions out of people when reading her books. This book had me so emotional (not just sad, I also cry when I’m angry, and when I’m happy).

I should start by saying, anything Bea Paige is an automatic read for me. Everything I’ve ever read by her, I’ve loved. Was this my favourite of her books? Sadly, no. Was it’s still really good? Yes, absolutely.
Bea has a writing style that captures me and draws me into a story until I’m utterly absorbed in it. It’s one of the things I really enjoy about her books, this one included, I get totally sucked into them.
Unfortunately, I really didn’t gel with the characters in this book at all. I found the FMC a little annoying and the MMC frustrating. That being said, I still found myself absorbed in their story and I was rooting for them by the end.
Bea touched on some very tricky subjects in this book, specifically miscarriage. Having suffered this tragedy myself, Bea’s portrayal was accurate, sensitively handled and beautifully written. I could never have verbalised as eloquently as Bea has written what I went through.
If I had gelled better with the characters, I’d have given this 5 stars because I did enjoy it and it was well written. I would definitely recommend and I will absolutely be reading the rest of the series when it comes out!
