Best book in the series. Hands down. It was delightfully over the top. I loved it.

I was hoping Lothaire would be a witty, sarcastic, unhinged character. Someone you can't help but love even as he does awful things.
What I got was an aggressive loser with the charm of a sweaty gym sock. Ellie was such an amazing character and she fell for HIM?!
I HATED this cunt. What an absolute fucking prick, at no point is he anything but insufferable and he completely disregards Ellie's choices. It was honestly disgusting to see, it broke my heart when he turned her while she BEGGED HIM NOT TO!!
Lothaire is an unforgivable piece of garbage. Normally even if I hate a book I can kinda get why people like it, but this time the positive reviews are baffling.

I wanted to love it. Had high hopes for it, in fact. But in the end, it lost its signature Kresley Cole firepower (that many of her earlier books in this series had). There were parts that were great, parts that were lame, and parts that were lukewarm, which just didn't fit. But over all, I'm glad that I read it, even if like many IAD fans, I had also hoped that Nix had been the female lead in this story.

PERFECT,AMAZING, HILARIUOS,CHARMING!!! I expected nothing less!!! I loved Ellie and her way of taming Lothaire, I enjoyed the appearance of characters from the previous books, especially Nix, I liked the verbal sparring between Lothaire and Ellie! Great humour, sizzling passion and perfect plot!I'm looking forward to the next installment and hope it will be about Nix!
