The opening two issues of Skywalker Strikes are brilliant, especially the first, I love everything about them. The following five issues, however… they’re not great. It’s a shame too because this started on such a high note, hopefully the series picks up after this.

This entry in the series feels unnecessary. It's more of the same from the original trilogy, which I love, but don't necessarily need more of. There wasn't anything particularly new or fresh here, unless you count the very spoiler-y bomb that was dropped at the end that I don't care about at all--felt like a stunt and not at all true to the story.
I'm not a comic book fan, but this one was surprisingly fun. It's part of the new Star Wars Canon and takes place after Episode IV: A New Hope. There was plenty of action and adventure with Luke, Leia, Han, and Chewie, while also having enough plot to make it worth reading. I won't say it felt like a Star Wars movie because Lucas never focused on the everyday battles of the Resistance, but it felt true to the characters and that is what matters the most.

Great read, pair with the Vader series as the storylines overlap
I liked this, but so far it's not nearly as strong as the Vader series.
