** spoiler alert ** Well, it's definitely different than the movie, but I still really like it. Either they put stuff from the second book, or from a couple sequels, into the movie version "Angus, Thongs And Perfect Snogging" or the movie is just not very close, but I still enjoyed the movie. Still, why the movie was diff than the book is beyond me...but at the same time, I can somewhat see why. The bit at the end about what her 'Sex G-d' suggests leaves me....IDK.
I was a bit surprised that it was written as if it were a diary, but it was still a cute read. At one time, the film was on Youtube in its entirety and I was pleasantly surprised that in the movie, it takes place in Brighton, England. One of my mates lives there. I give it 4 stars.

Edit (4/23/18): At the very end of the book, there is a bad request from her new boyfriend that she not tell anyone that they're dating. Honestly, now I get the impression that he was embarrassed at the very thought of people finding out that he was dating her. it's been a few years since I've read this book, and I'm not sure why I originally gave this 4 stars when THAT is at the very end, but I'm correcting it now. I give it 1 stars.
