Say “vampire” and I am there! This has the imagery of the vampire that we know today along with an interesting setup. Imagine journeying with the undead and not knowing. That’s the start of this short story and is well worth the read.

The storyline and descriptions in this are very beautiful. I did find it hard to understand not sure if that’s due to the prose or my reading slump. I really enjoyed the flowery language in describing Ianthe. The repressed sexuality throughout the story is so well written and so tense it’s great. Overall good just takes extra effort to understand!!
