I’m so pleased to be part of the Love is for Losers @pridebooktours Tour!! I really enjoyed this one, it was funny and honest and well written in a style that reminded me of the books I loved when I was a teenager. As well as being genuinely enjoyable, Love is for Losers deals with a lot of real life anxieties and stresses, which breathes life into the story. I recommend this for anyone who loves contemporary YA, or anyone who likes unique main characters.

Thank you @pridebooktours for letting me be a part of this tour and sending me the arc, the finished book and the delicious cake pop!

Brueggeman's debut is full of teenage sarcasm and a bit messy, just like fifteen year old me was.
I really connected with character of Phoebe, despite (or thanks to) her numerous and obvious flaws.
And that's why I enjoyed the book so much. I have been that messy teenager who had barely started to figure things out at the end of her character arc.

Your mileage may vary with this one, but I hope you'll enjoy the ride.
