Actually, I don't like reading about teenage heroes, so I didn't like it that much.
Guys, they're kids. Why do they drink so much alcohol? Even in movies, we see parents raiding parties and making sure there's no alcohol, but that's just a story.
I didn't like it much, nor i did't hate it, but of their first intimate scene. It was a kidnapping, then something like rape, and I hate that.
I loved her talk with her friend Dan. He seemed like a real, nice friend.

I've set my 2025 goal to read Rina Kent's books in order and she does NOT disappoint!! I forgot how much I LOVE a good bully-romance until I started this book. PERFECTION!! Honestly, there are a lot of books out there with the "bully-romance" title where the girl gets harassed at school by the boy and/or peers and she eventually finds her voice. Some point along the way the boy realizes his feeling for her and we get our HEA. However. Not all authors can intertwine bullying, family drama, history, angst, sexual tension AND excellent writing. Rina Kent does just that!
Levi is a bit tortured and a lot obsessed. Astrid still grieves over her mother's death and just wants to be loved by her dad. She can't deny the pull to Levi though even though he's dangerous. He can't deny his complete and utter obsession with her even though he's not supposed to pursue her. And of course, that's what makes it a great book, amIright?
On to the next book!!

This is my new guilty pleasure series and I just love it. Characters are fun, I like how romance and spice are sprinkled with a little mystery and everything just works for me. It was a little milder and more YA than I expected, but still a great fun.
the blurb definitely promising but somehow the writing isn't really my style. i don't know, i just can't seem to shake off the strange attitude from the hero, the hot and cold always a bit out of time. but overall it's pretty good, just not exactly my favorite.
