I did enjoy this book I just figured out whodunnit (minus one person) early on. It’s still funny and a good read

I liked the first one a lot better than this but that’s not to say this book wasn’t a banger. El is back with her witty words and 4th wallbreaking self. I actually didn’t see a lot of the twists coming so idk if that’s why I liked it less than the first book. Nonetheless we get to see our faves again like Connor, Harper and Oliver (I love him so much omg), and Connor is as infuriating as ever. Sometimes I didn’t really understand some of the motives behind people’s actions (looking at a certain director cough cough) but it was still a fun time with some genuine lol moments. My poor girl El can’t get a break and imma need her to be released from the chokehold that is Connor cuz babes you have Oliver right there.

ANYWAYSSS, The story was fun in a sort of ridiculous manner. Complex enough to keep you on your toes with likeable characters that are more than to just keep the plot moving and twists at least EYE, didn’t see coming.
