I’m sorry but seriously make this book make sense.

First we have a girl going after her “guardian” Mind you she is 25 years old and her guardian has spent a total of maybe 10 days around her. This is absolutely not taboo, but beyond that there was this weird subplot of bdsm that started to happen, and then just stopped.

The hardest thing for me to understand is that this girl was 16 when going into this dude’s care. He sent her off to boarding school immediately after her parents died, never spoke to her, and only saw her once a year, but somehow she trusted him and only him enough to do the whole bdsm thing?!?! Say what????

This story was beyond unbelievable. It had a few hot scenes but it honestly made me just really sad. I adored the first two books in this series, but it’s quickly gone downhill. Not sure if I’d read another one of these if she writes it.

The story lacked and didn't flow very well. Also the dialogue was a little bit all over the place.

The spice however.....woo! That was well written and my face was red the whole time!

Another delightful taboo treat from Katee. These are dirty short stories, and you know the rest! lol
It was actually really sweet and sexy! Devan is such a Dirty yet Caring Alpha Bear and I love him! This one isn't as over the top as previous stories. By comparison, it was pretty tame. But I loved how SmG had the characters wanting each other for YEARS!! That kind of build-up could only lead to a massive explosion.

Meh. Pretty repetitive compared to the other books in the series. The guardian/ward angle didn't bring anything new to the table. Heroine is a spoiled rich lady with a tragic parents died in car crash background, and the hero is cut and paste soft dom.
