In Memory Of Jianhong, Snake-Devil - Richard Parks ***
A father and daughter hunt the titular snake-devil, but end up having to make an unexpected bargain. Nice atmosphere and the relationship between Pan Bao and Jing works well, but mostly feels like an introduction to the characters, not a full story.

A man is cursed to continually abduct girls and women, then be killed by rescuing knights and resurrected to begin again. A fairytale Groundhog Day-style story of frustration and attempts at redemption.
