When I originally read the first three series of Warriors, I never delved into the Super Editions, so this book was brand new material for me. I’m so glad I decided to include these this time around.
I absolutely loved reading Crookedstar’s journey. Seeing him struggle to overcome his disability, be neglected by his mother and clan, and still work so hard to become a fierce and loyal warrior was pretty inspiring. His journey is more heartbreaking than I ever would have thought and the parallels between the events of The Prophecies Begin and Crookedstar’s life make this read a worthwhile experience for anyone following the main arcs.
