People hate on this book but I enjoyed it. Probably helps that i think David lynch is delightful
This book is an autobiography, movie insider, and Transcendental Meditation thoughts. I like Lynch’s stories and his descriptive language he uses.

very cool insight into lynch’s thought process wrt creativity and humanity
The book unfolds like a series of Polaroid snapshots: here's Lynch meeting Fellini, there he is discovering meditation, now he's talking about how ideas are like fish - you have to go deeper to catch the big ones. Each memory, each insight creates its own small revelation.
Reading "Catching the Big Fish" feels like being granted permission to embrace both the profound and the simple. Lynch has given us something rare: a glimpse into not just how he creates, but how he lives with creativity. It's a lighthouse beam sweeping across dark waters, illuminating possibilities.
