I love Twin Peaks and David Lynch movies so it was interesting hearing about David Lynch’s creative process. He did go on a lot about transcendental meditation but I guess that was largely the topic of the book. The language in the book was quite simple but I think that’s fitting and typical of Lynch. It was a special treat having him read the audiobook himself!
Interesting, but I don’t think anyone not familiar with David Lynch would get much out of it. It’s a very loose and short book, more like a series of brief diary entries. Lynch does occasionally say something very provocative, and this book does soft of serve as sideways career retrospective. But don’t know if there’s that much substance here

it is so funny to me how people think transcendental meditation is some sort of cult movement just because lynch felt so strongly about it and people donated to his movement
I kinda get why some people think that way but truly this book alot into perspective and was really transparent about the practice and its implementation into day to day life
