I don’t remember much about this book. I was about half way through this book before I realized it was written by a famous director. I would not recommend it much.
I was sad that I would not get a chance to meet David Lynch today at Ameoba Music Store in LA today. after reading this book, I realized that I'll never be as cool as the people who did. This dude am I right?
I went running in and I asked Frank, “Are you an actor?” And he said, “Well, yes, I happen to be,” because everyone in L.A. is an actor.
And maybe everyone in the world.
I was expecting either a dense, jargon-heavy metaphysical textbook or a how-to guide, but instead I got a gently enthusiastic 'hey guys you should check this shit out' coupled with a thoughtful insight into David Lynch's career and creative process. And that's nice

In true Lynchian fashion, David free flows in a rambling albeit disjointed manner, bouncing from thought to memory to idea to advice within the same breath. It all makes its way to and from the meditation that has charged him for years. I recommend him reading this quick informative novel to you instead of reading the written word, especially if you are a fan.
