The closest we will ever get to a filmmaking advice book by Lynch. More so on the topic of transcendental meditation the book feels like I sat down and had a nice conversation with the man. My only criticism is that I wish it were longer and that he dug a little more into certain areas. 3.5/5 stars

interesting insight in his work and approach to cinema and art. there’s a lot of small insights that give context to what he does and how he puts things together. the writing and commentary on mediation was insightful.
