Every superhero comic book writer should study this series to see how it’s done. Taylor makes the story seem inevitable, and he does it in such a way that it appears effortless.
He’s mining every aspect of DC’s back catalog and history, making every aspect work together. That part alone is amazing. I mean, come on, he even worked in Ace the bat-hound!
