Some of the chapters, especially the one about Ruby and Katsumi meeting, were really beautifully written, but I don't think the book overall was super memorable.

dark reflective tense medium-paced

Covid and what came from quarantine from many POVs. While I appreciated many POVs, there were a lot. I felt I only got to truly know a few. Realistic conclusion, and the book touched on many cultural issues I feel are important to the author.
