I get why kids enjoy this book but it wasn't for me. It was a little too manic for my tastes and the jokes fell flat. I've heard people say that they've gotten their reluctant reader to read these and I think that's fantastic. I wouldn't have any problem recommending this to kids 8+.
Two best friends and writing partners are in a pickle when their agent demands a new book... but they have nothing - and no ideas. A tour through the title workspace and adventure/fun zone proves to the writing duo that they do have a story to tell - the one you just read! A fun, quick read that will definitely find readership among real-life Andy and Terrys.
BOOK #4 READ FOR BELIEVATHON ROUND 2.
Not going to even bother with a proper review for this one. this book is so stupid, it's hilarious.
like at first i was hating it because of how stupid it was but then i'd find myself CACKLING LIKE A BANSHEE so???????

Big, big it with my 9 and 6 year olds. Silly, goofy good fun.
This is a great adventure and imaginative book for young readers, teenagers, and adults as well.
Drawings are well done and Andy writes well. Excited to carry on with this series!

I picked this one up because I'm reading through all of the 2016 Bluestem nominees. It was interesting, super fantastic and fun for reluctant readers, but the implausibility of the story line was hard for me to appreciate at times.
This book made benchmark testing enjoyable for this teacher - The perfect read to share with a goofy 10 year old, or a 10 year old at heart!
