(This is a review following a reread of the book) So many of my favorite moments in the series happen during this book! 

• Rowan and Aelin’s first kiss
• Manon and Aelin meeting for the first time.
• Arobynn FINALLY getting what’s coming to him.
• Elide finally getting some time in the spotlight.
• Manon finally starting to push back against her grandmother.
• I think my favorite moment is still when
  Rowan finally arrives in Rifthold and reunites with Aelin.

A fantastic start to the 2nd arc of phenomenal story!

reading this series for the first time is like reading Harry Potter for the first time!!! It ignited childlike joy in me. The rich world makes fireworks appear in my brain & I am so happy reading the stories of these characters (even when they’re sad or tense). I fear TOG is better than ACOTAR……
