This is the best TOG book so far. Everything finally came together and it was so exciting and had me on my toes the whole time.

Throughout this book, the action sequences are very well crafted to fit both the setting and the characters. Some of these characters really come into their own here, and the plot takes a direction that feels fitting but I didn’t fully expect.

I liked the book, but felt that some of the events that had been talked about for a while fell short of the expectations. For instance, the plot to kill a significant character felt anti climatic considering how much it was discussed ahead of time.

Wow, an absolute masterpiece! Aelin's quest to reclaim her throne is epic AF, and her badassery? Off the charts! I was living for the multiple POVs, especially getting to know Manon and The Thirteen on a deeper level. The friendships, found family vibes, and the slow-burn with Rowan... Chef's kiss I'm seriously craving more after devouring this book and decided to do the tandem read!
