First part was great. Sexy, tense, exciting. Gabby is intelligent and sassy, but not too perfect (aka annoying mary sue). Adam Black (you need to say his whole name) is sex on wheels. He needs Gabby and she knows just how dangerous he is. Hilarity ensues.

Then it all slows down to a more boring pace when Adam Black becomes tame as a kitten.

The last part picks up a bit, when they get to meet some familiar faces (yay!).

The ending is so deliciously cheesy.

My favorite of the series :)

Adam ... It's so good that you are you =)

Plot:
- Adam the fairy has been stripped of his powers by the Queen, but no one can see or touch him.
- h has the ability to see fairies, a genetic trait passed down her family

Took me awhile. Adam's story was slow paced, I thought. I still liked it, though. :D

I struggled a lot to rate this book. I was juggling between 3 and 4 stars, but ultimately couldn't get past my dislike for the romance between Gabrielle and Adam.

The otherworldly attraction/insta-love was just a bit boring and I had to skim-read big chunks of it, just so I could finish the book. The plot was VERY predictable too, so there wasn't much keeping my attention to the story. I also found the focus on money and brands a bit misplaced - like Adam wearing Gucci boots or stealing a BMW for Gabrielle were such weirdly irrelevant details to chuck in there. Are we supposed to think he's more attractive because he has expensive things?

I found Gabrielle to be the most likeable character. She had a really witty inner dialogue that held true through most of the book. Other than that, nothing was really too memorable for me.

When I first started reading this series ... I really wasn't a fan of Adam Black. I have to say, I really developed a soft spot for this Fae prince. He's done some stuff that isn't so great, but he really has a soft spot for humanity. He's tested the queen one too many times, and now finds himself human and stripped of most of his powers. Gabrielle just happens to be one of the few that can actually see him ... she's a Sidhe-seer.

I love how fiercely Gabrielle defends herself when she encounters Adam at first. I love me a fiesty Sidhe-seer! It was a great story, watching Gabrielle discover Adam's hidden truths ... and we got to see the MacKelter's again!!!

I'm really glad I decided to read these ... the Fever series is making a lot more sense to me now.

Satisfying overall, it just missed something the MacKeltar ones before it had. It was interesting to see how Adam handled situations as a 'human.'
