The more Moning writes this series the better it gets. All of this series is great because all of the men in each of the books are all connected to each other. Super fun and adds a lot to each story. And of course the romance!

This series gets better and better with every damn book!

This is my first ever Karen Marie Moning book, all I can say is I definitely need a Fae.

First of all, I liked this book MUCH more than I thought I would. Not that I thought it would be bad, I just haven't really been an Adam Black fan, so I couldn't see myself getting to invested in his story. Boy was I wrong...about Adam and about how much I'd enjoy this books. There are volumes about Adam that we didn't get to see before. Learning about his more "human" side was intriguing. Having read the Fever books prior to the Highlander books, I was also happy to see a Sidhe Seer! And enter Darroc??? OMG! Then to top it all off, we get to see more of the MacKeltar twins!!! All of this added up to a fast paced, action and adventure filled, paranormal romance!

4 1/2 stars! Adam Black has been my favorite character since Beyond the Highland Mist. I knew there was something more complex to his character. I was so impatient to read his story that I totally skipped over Drustan and Dageus' stories.
Adam Black gave up so much for Gabby. That is more true love than any of the other Highlander stories in my opinion. Love this series and loved this book. That epilogue made me feel so warm and fuzzy

I loved this series and Adam's story was especially fun since we had read about him in the other books. I was happy to see how it all resolved for him. I did wish we would have seen him in the Fever series since we saw some of the other characters from this series in it.

Very enjoyable
