Finally...Adam Black! I'm glad he got part of the story here.
Not quite a good as the previous book in the series, The Immortal Highlander is still a delightful read that offers some good suspense as well.
I wasn't sure I was going to like this one as much because there is more Fae involved but it ended up that I did. Adam is such a strong character that was been in so many other of her novels that he really starts to grow on you. A very quick read and especially nice that you get to visit the MacKeltar castle again.
This was the book I had most been anticipating. I'm not sure how I feel about it. I think after five previous books, in the same format, with the same--pretty much the same--outcome, I can't really get excited about it. I'm also really tired of things being neatly wrapped up with a bow.
This was definitely better writing than the first book. I enjoyed how Adam's tale was linked with both Drustan and Dageous' tale. I also like the inclusion of the Fae (because I loved the Fever Series so much). But the cookie-cutter Happily Ever After in these Highlander books is tired after so many! But don't take my word for it.

Oh. My. God! This book was incredibly, completely amazing from the first to the last page. There was not a single moment where it stopped drawing me. And that ending! Never before have I read a more complete, more satisfying ending of a book I loved. Usually I want more when I'm done with a book I loved to know what happened after the book was done, not this time. Adam Black is the complete bad boy every girl dreams about. Gabrielle is the girl we all want to be, specially when the bad boy arrives. This book was everything I love about romance novels and more.
Cue the tears!!!!!!!!!!! This is my favorite in the Highlander series by far!!!! Then ending was just (sigh) phenomenal! I'm ready to read it again!
Love this authors writing style. Love this cute little story. The slow burn romance gets me every time
This book once again proves why I'm a Karen Marie Moning fan!
Adam Black is the consummate "bad boy." Gabrielle O'Callaghan is the consummate innocent who is drawn to a bad boy, resists, but is ultimately drawn into his embrace and more. And the "more" is so deliciously detailed and arousing. But regardless of Adam Black's reputation, he turns out to be a catch because he chooses love over immortality. I LOVE a happy ending!

Yay Adam Black, I knew there was hope for you!!!
Loved the ending, left me with a smile!
