This is an updated version of a daily comfort book I have read many times. Simple Abundance by Sarah Ban Breathnach may not apply to everyone, but the understanding behind her ideas can lift anyone. Simple Abundance is a reminder to take some time for yourself and to understand the real you, not the you that someone else wants you to be or that you feel you should be (i.e., the perfect wife, mother, etc.).

I liked this book fine, but it was a bit much for everyday. I read about 50% of it. A lot of the things she suggests are already practices I have, like decluttering, choosing a wardrobe, cooking, budgeting, and a lot of the other home econ kinds of things she suggests. It is a cute and wonderful book if you have never done any kind of self care exploration, but I've done plenty of that. I traded this in for a book of daily teachings by Thich Nhat Hanh and it was more what I was looking for.
