Cal is a lady with dreams of more. Maksim is a gem. Rafe is an outcast. I didn’t really get the appeal with Ambrose. Zathrian knows what it likes to be on the outside. Everybody wants to protect Cal but Cal can save herself.
I like that Cal didn’t ask for forgiveness for what she wants. My biggest issue is that she thinks doesn’t have to have a conversation with people. I feel like a conversation should’ve been had with Rafe before Ambrose. Her attitude was “I didn’t think this person needed to know.” I felt like it should’ve been a little more open. Love the professor that soon? Naa. It was interesting to see a dynamic where the guys don’t necessarily like each other but tolerate each other for Cal.
I actually like Vites POV but wasn’t necessary.
Every time Cal sees her father it’s been repetitive every time. She wants to hug him so bad but refrains from doing so. Also at the end when she said her dad was acting like her aunt. That wasn’t a fair analysis.
