Daughter was a fan of the movie and really loved the book, she liked seeing the difference between the two.

I'm sorry to say that I didn't have fond memories of James and The Giant Peach from when I was a kid. Reading it now to my son, with all the voices and excitement of a quick adventure, I enjoyed it greatly. He's too young to give it a rating, but judging by the drool on the pages and the torn edges from his tiny baby hands, I think it's safe to say he liked it. We'll see you in a few years, James, when Will is old enough to appreciate human size insects and Cloud-Men.
