Another thrilling page turner by J Kenner. I loved this book and cannot wait to read the next story. She is one of my all time favorite authors.

Very well written. I was wowed by the story so many times. I could not put the book down once I finally was able to start reading it. Great story between Mason and Denise. So much more details and storylines that I would have never came with.
The story felt kind of realistic to me. Yes, some of it was a little far-fetched but it made the storyline what it was. I love all her books. Keep up the good work.

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

In the customary J. Kenner style this second book in the New Stark world is filled with drama, intrigue and beautifully written characters. The reader gets locked din from the very first chapter and is taken on a wild ride while falling in love with Denise and Mason. With Mason not having any memory and Denise not able to help him regain it, the heart wrenching story is one you should not miss.

J Kenner is a newer to me author. She is not one that I have found myself gravitating toward in the past, but I enjoyed many of her Man of the Month books. So I was curious to read more by her, and picked up Broken with You. I very much enjoyed the suspense aspect of this book, and I really liked the characters. The plot was a little different than the typical romance books that I've read, which is definitely a plus for me. And while it wasn't necessary, I do wish I had read the first book in the Stark Security series first. I will go back and read Shattered with You, and look forward to the third book in this series!

This was interesting story, sad at times, funny at others, with curve balls and an attraction that sizzled and scorched. I was compelled to finish it in a sitting, I could not put it down. This was also my first by the author so I have not read any of the others in the series or tie-ins which I did not feel was a problem. Honestly, I just enjoyed it and might just find myself reading the test of them at some point.

***ARC PROVIDED FOR HONEST REVIEW***

This was not my favourite book in the Stark world. I loved Denise as a character and the book was well written from a technical perspective but something fell flat for me.
I think it might be because the romance seemed to be secondary to the spy work gone wrong plot, and I wanted the romance to be more central, more alive.

It is certainly still worth reading and is another good one to add to the J Kenner collection. I’m looking forward to the next book in the Stark world, as not matter what, it is one of my favourite worlds to dive back in to.

Can't remember who you are? Have information that could impact National Security? Not a problem for the team at Stark. Love the dark underside we see in these stories. With the light coming in to bring a little balance. And if you aren't team Mason, there must be something wrong with you. Really you want to read this one so you can figure out who the enemy truly is.

Oh how I love books written by J. Kenner, she has a knack of hooking you right from page one and keeping you on the edge of your seat right until the end.
This is book 2 in her Stark Security series and I absolutely loved it. It was such a beautiful well written love story, with plenty of action, suspense, mystery and super sexy love scenes. I seriously did not want this book to end and I could have kept on reading I was that consumed by it.
Now will love conquer all and will there be a happy ending? Guess you will have to pick up the book and find out. Trust me you won't be disappointed!!

The queen of all that is Damien Stark has done it again with her newest book, Broken with You. Since unveiling her Stark Security Series a couple of months ago, she has piqued the curiosity of her most dedicated readers about these men and women, working so hard for the king of business, Damien Stark. After reading Quince’s story in Shattered with You, and being introduced to Denise (Denny), I knew I was “all in” for her story in this book. She did not disappoint.

The story begins after the prequel story, Shadows of You. We know from Shattered… and Shadows… that Denny’s husband, Mason, has been working under deep cover to infiltrate a dangerous organization. We know that he has been gone for close to three years, much to the dislike and loneliness of Denny. After the event of the prequel, we know how deeply Denny loves Mason and how much she misses him. Her life has been placed on hold in his absence.

One day, she receives a call that he has returned. Unfortunately, he has no memory of her, and it breaks her. Mason/Jack’s sub-conscious is protecting important information due to trauma endured during his undercover mission. However, his soul seems to know Denny, as he dreams of “golden-blond hair” and “green eyes.” When he meets her again, he sees those traits focused back at him. As a way to protect him and put him back to work, the government organization who placed him undercover originally places him with Damien Stark’s Security group, and he is paired with Denny. Although her heart aches for him, she cannot tell him about their connection, even though it pains her greatly. Even more, she has a secret that she cannot divulge for fear of Mason breaking his mind. Will they ever be able to reconcile and find their perfect ending?

Everything you love about a J. Kenner Damien Stark novel exists in Broken with You.

A stalwart, sexy hero. Mason/Jack is everything you love in an action romantic hero. He’s handsome, strong, kind, and carries just a bit (or a lot) of danger. His struggle in this book creates the drama for him and Denny, and it is painful to watch him grapple through his pain. He has endured an intense trauma for the sake of Denny, and his chivalry makes him even more appealing.

A strong, smart, sexy heroine. To be honest, Denny is a saint. She has waited for Mason. For almost three years, she has relinquished most communication with him, and rarely did she give up on him. I am not sure that I could have been patient. She is an amazing character in her ability to rationalize and compartmentalize her loss of him. It is quite impressive. Even more, even though her heart breaks, she makes sacrifices to protect Mason/Jack from others and himself. She holds back his identity, even though it would make her life easier. She is truly self-sacrificing. This is a female character that other female characters should strive to be.

Some “on-the-edge-of-your-seat” action/drama. This wouldn’t be a Stark novel if it didn’t leave you biting your fingernails in anticipation of everyone making it out alive. This is definitely a hallmark of the Stark Security series. If you like romantic suspense/action, then you’ll love this series, namely this book. Given Mason’s amnesia, you’re left blind through most of the story, and the twist lies in the revelation of the organization that has kept Mason undercover. There are other very intense moments in this book, but I won’t give them away because this is a spoiler-free review. Instead, I can only tell you that the story is driven forward by the various turns of the story, and I couldn’t put the book down, if only to find out if Mason regains his memory.

The inclusion of other Stark characters. I think this is one of the hallmarks of J. Kenner’s Stark stories that I love the most. You can always count on Damien and Ryan entering a story, and this is the case with this story. However, Quince and Liam are significant characters too. When you read a Stark book, you stay entrenched in this world, and it brings a level of comfort to the reader. You don’t have to yet say goodbye to characters that you have grown to love, and it’s the reason I will go back to J. Kenner time and time again.

Intense chemistry between the H and h. This is a requirement for a Stark book, and it is clearly in place in this book. Mason and Denny’s chemistry flies off the page and makes you all kinds of warm. It’s this chemistry that binds them together when Mason’s memory threatens to pull them apart.

As I stated previously, Broken With You is my current favorite Stark Series book. As there have only been two, that isn’t hard to accept. However, there is just something special about Denny and Mason. I am hoping we will see them in Liam’s story (which I believe is the next book in this series). Broken with You is a fast-paced, sexy, action-packed romantic story. If that’s your “thing,” then you will love this book.

Thanks to the publisher for an ARC to read and give my honest opinion.

Elongation of the Stark series spinoff, we meet Mason and Denise in one of the most mysterious book of this series. Mason wakes up in a dingy hotel with no idea who he is but knows enough to contact his group. Denise is his wife and has been waiting two years for him to come home only this wasn’t what she bargained as their homecoming.

What did I like? Unique idea and definitely a page turner. It was fun to see Masons inner turmoil toward Denise, when they couldn’t tell him who he was since they thought it would trigger a identity meltdown.

Would I buy this book? Yep, I’m a fan of the series! I enjoyed it and the author always has reasonable prices.

Thoughts for the author? Love the unique idea, don’t see many stories like this one. Thanks for allowing me a copy.

Introduction
Broken With You is the second installment in the "Stark Security" series. I absolutely loved this one here, it was so delightful and man me heart. This book had me all in my feels and all over the place. This is a story that if you love J.Kenner's writing style, then it will definitely work for you. I really have loved seeing her explore more into the romantic suspense sub genre and this series is most definitely romantic suspense. I have truly loved the way in which she developed this story and the set up was really heart wrenching, but J.Kenner really handled these aspects so well here. I was so drawn into this one here and just didn't want to put it down once I started it. I do think if you like stories that feature married couples, then you definitely should pick this one up.

Summary
Denise hasn't seen her husband Mason, in months. Where he went deep undercover and he has been reported as missing for months. Now he is back, but not fully. He has no memory of their marriage or his time with the Stark Security force, only glimspes of being taken and escaping. He has no clue who he is or what has happened to him. Denise is told by his psychologists that tell him that they are married could be detrimental to his healing. Denise is being torn apart not being able to tell the man she loves, their history or what connection they have or why there is glimpses of that connection and she can't tell him why. Mason knows that there is something vital between him and Denise but he can't figure out why. But when he learns the truth about them, then the risks seem even more real and only him and Denise working together will they be able to bring down their enemies fully...

My Outlook
Broken With You was such a deeply riveting story and I had my heart fully entrenched into this one. J.Kenner really wrote a gem of a read because I couldn't put this one down here. I was so hooked into their story and seeing them work through some serious issues here. My heart was aching for Denise, because she was in such a horrible position. You see her emotional struggle learning her husband is alive, but scarred and with no memory. You just feel her heartbreak over that and knowing that she can't tell him the truth, he has to figure it out on his own. But I have to say when he does learn the truth it was EPIC! That moment was the most memorable moment of the story for me other than the climax of the ending. We also see how they are faced with some great challenges in the second half of the story and it will take some creative risks for them to overcome them. I really love how this author kept me on my toes with this one and I couldn't seem to put it down. I was so all in for this couple and cheering them on all the way in. They will definitely stay in my mind for quite some time here.
