It was okay. Elizabeth at the beginning of the book was amazing, then she changes, loses her backbone and it is gone.

I really loved it! I annotated it while I read for the first time in a non-school book. This really helped me actually understand the material and go slow enough. The language was very dense and it took me a long time to read it, but once I got into the flow of the language it was a lot easier.
I love Lizzy and Darcy! They are so cute! I knew of course that they would get together in the end, so the entire book I was rooting for it. It really is the original enemies to lovers. My one dislike of the book is how Kitty ended up. She was only 16 and definitely didn't deserve a LIFETIME of sadness because she made one mistake. I understand the book was written a long time ago but it still kindof irked me.
Overall it was a thoroughly enjoyable read! I am ready to move on to something slightly easier though.
