Brilliantly plotted, so many twists, so dark

The first half of this book was intriguing and caught my attention quick! Around the middle to the third quarter things started getting a bit messy and ad scattered. I had to force myself to finish the book and it was just okay. TW:Very graphic in terms of physical abuse, rape and murder.

I found it hard to put down but also found it hard to read. Some of the details were shocking and a bit too brutal for me so I skipped over them quickly. Be warned it isn’t a nice easy read. Lots of triggers. But still good and with Karen Slaughter that is what you’ll always get.

Wowowowow. SO GLAD I GOT THIS. I put it in my cart and took it out like 1719 times bc of peoples review of it being too graphic. IMO it’s only slightly darker than any murder series on Netflix, so for me it was fine.
