Dark. Very very dark and twisted. Not what I expected after reading the first two books but damn... This book was something I didn't want to like but I did anyway. The trauma Pip goes through. Ravi being by her side and defending her throughout even after knowing it's wrong. Idk what to think about it but I liked it.

This was a rather large let down for me I guessed quite a bit of this and then it all just felt so unbelievable.

Things that let it down:
  • How easy it was to guess it was Jason who was involved in the DT killings the email made it very clear to me that it was him and then the thing about the hairbrush in one of the photos for Andre highlighted this even further.
  • Pip killing Jason seemed rather extreme I don’t get why they couldn’t have focused on the DT killer rather than killing him I feel like that would have been a more interesting plot
  • Then pip going cold turkey and not talking to anyone for me made it seem more like Pip was involved cause your telling me DI Hawkins would never have found out she stopped speaking to her friends for a year yeah right
I feel like this was an unfortunate end to this series and in my opinion I would recommend just leaving it at book 2 and skipping this one

Really loved this conclusion to the trilogy - it was very different from the previous 2 but a brilliant conclusion!

I can’t wait to read more things that Holly Jackson writes!

Probably the weakest book in the trilogy. This felt like two books crammed into one and failed to succeed in both areas. There were a lot of questionable decisions by the characters and even more questionable directions in where the story went.

Just as tired and as scarred as Pip, we deserve a better conclusion than this.

THE END TO END ALL ENDINGS

an absolutely genius end to the trilogy, my second time reading it and i’m blown away by holly’s attention to detail and especially how emotional this whole book was.
