Another must-read!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I can’t say enough about this book and the potential series it is setting up! It is classic Marie Force, with a whole cast of amazing characters that support the featured couple. The book has love, drama, chemistry, witty banter, laughter, tears, the whole spectrum of human emotion, and the perfect prescription for a book hangover! Jason is a prime book boyfriend, and Carmen is the type of woman we all relate to and admire. And her family? Amazing!! They totally steal the show, and insure that this series will be another huge success!! I’ve already read Book 2, which might’ve been even better than this one, and I’m eagerly awaiting the 3rd installment!! Prepare to be hooked on yet another Marie Force series!!

Wonderful feel good romance. It was really great to have a character come out better than before after deceit cost him a job. I really liked how much of the story centered on Carmen and the culture she grew up in. It makes me want to go to Miami.

Jason, is looking for a new start at Miami Dade Hospital after losing his position in New York city after being wrongfully blamed for breaking up a marriage. A marriage he didn't know existed.

Carmen is starting a new job at Miami Dade in public relations. Little did she know she would be babysitting a doctor while the board decides if they want to give him privileges.

When Carmen discovers the truth she will not stop until his job is secured. But does he still want the job when the truth comes out and they ask him to return? Will his feelings for Carmen make him want to stay?

Another amazing Marie Force series kicks off

This book is everything I love about a Marie Force book. Well crafted characters live and love amongst a vivid setting that draws the reader into an amazing new world.

Carmen and Jason each have been through emotionally challenging situations, entirely different but intense and draining nonetheless. Marie’s writing brings the reader along on an incredible journey. If you don’t know Miami, you get to discover it along with Jason.

I can’t wait for book 2 in this series. 5 sizzling stars!

I started out listening to this book. The narration was not bad, it just seemed sooo slow. I switched back to reading it.

I didn't expect the story I got with this book. Based on the way Jason and Carmen met, I really expected a lot more angst, more irritation, more sarcasm, or tension. By the time Jason showed up to "rescue" Carmen, all those thoughts went out the window.

I liked the description of the locale, and all of the things associated with Carmen's heritage and family. I liked Jason and Carmen together. I appreciated that Carmen had reservations about how fast their relationship jumped off, even though she also felt the connection.

This book turned out to be a sweet, witty, romance that lead to Jason and Carmen sharing their HEA with the people that care most about them.

I do have to say that if I didn't know Marie Force had written this book, I would have been surprised if someone had told me. This book did not seem like a Marie Force read to me at all. As I was reading it, I keep wondering what was missing. Don't get me wrong, it is not a bad book, it is just a simple love story. I feel like I usually get much more from a book written by this author.

A romance involving a widow that hasn't completely closed the first chapter and a man that opens up her heart to a new love–turning the page to their story while respecting the past.

The last thing that Carmen wants to do on her first day at her dream job is to babysit the arrogant neurosurgeon from New York. Her first impression of Jason isn't great but looks can be deceiving. What starts out as just a quick assignment turns into saving his tarnished reputation.

Through their times that involve trips to jail and drinking cortaditos while cruising through Miami–Carmen and Jason open up themselves to each other losing sight of the original mission for something much more meaningful, another chance at love.

I was looking for a quick read with romance. I got that and more.

This was so cute!

So 30% I was flagging, its been a long day today with sleep being a little challenging but I really wanted to read this and I'm glad I stuck with it.

I thought this was super sweet and very easy to read. Its quick, like they pretty much fall for each other straight away but it doesn't feel instant love it feels right. Like if you know you know. I'm a big believer in just having that gut instant for a five star read and this book gave me it.

Book 1 in the Miami Nights Series of independent stories.  Carmen Giordino Cuban Italian Public Relations Director and Dr. Jason Northrup are both starting their first day at Miami Dade Hospital.  Carmen is asked to babysit the doctor, but she doesn't know why.  Jason was fired from NY Hospital due to scandal with the Chairman of the Hospital's wife, but he claims he didn't know she was married.  Well in this insta-love story between the good doctor and Carmen, Carmen takes on the task to right the wrong done to Jason.  Moved slow for me and love just wasn't there for me in a second chance romance for Carmen.

I liked this book, but there was an obvious deadline for their relationship, which made it less enjoyable.

I liked Carmen and Jason, but they don’t do much. I mean, they do touristy things in Miami and then Jason goes to the clinic, but it felt like most of it was just described instead of shown, or the scenes when they were doing those things were short.

There were some side characters (mostly Carmen’s family), but they were only shown briefly, and I wanted to see more of Carmen and Jason interacting with them.

Most of this book happens over a week and Carmen and Jason’s relationship is very quick. It doesn’t show what their real lives would look like as Jason isn’t really working yet, and this is a special project for Carmen.

I don’t think I’m going to continue with this series as I’m not interested in reading about characters that were only briefly shown in this book.
