Always a great reread or re-read. A good straight forward kick in the pants to put the head on straight and move forward. I have bought copies for my children to keep and review over their lives

Very eh. Nothing I haven’t heard heard before. Visualize what you want to accomplish. Cultivate enough desire and conviction to accomplish it. Brainstorm with likeminded people. Have imaginary conversations with your role models (okay I will admit I haven’t heard this one before XD). And transmute sexual energy towards creative endeavors.

You are welcome. Now you don’t have to read it.

I've been picking this book up and putting it back down again for years. I'm no stranger to "books like this"; books on prosperity and principles for success.

After FINALLY getting through it, I can conclude that its a solid, timeless book on those things, though some chapters dragged for me. The author could be verbose and over-the-top at points but I think any one can extract good advice from it.
The book is not so much about getting money though, as it is about cultivating habits that will enable you to be successful.

This is a very old book, a predecessor to The Secret. It's a self-improvement guide written by a man who looked up to some of the old inventors and leaders such as Edison and Lincoln. He has some great suggestions for thinking positively and getting control of your thoughts and intentions, but he does have a problem with speaking concisely (he sort of drones on and on about the same point). Not bad but I probably won't read it again.

"You have absolute control over but one thing, and that is your thoughts." The book's 6 steps to grow rich are outlined in the beginning (very implementable), and the author reminds you of those in each chapter. Subsequent chapters build on how to think rich. The author also includes 6 ghosts of fear and some questions to ask yourself on a weekly/monthly basis. I can now understand why it has sold so many copies, and definitely agree with the publisher "setting the standard for today's motivational thinking."
