I really love this trilogy.

The Golden Enclaves ruined my life. I was completely blown away by the resolution to this series and bawled during the final climatic scene. 
El is one my favorite heroines ever- so snarly and pissy and full of rage. But she’s also so full of righteous goodness and compassion and understanding that it works. She’s angry and she SHOULD be. Her inner monologue is so funny and dry. The tangents never feel overally drawn out even though it really is written like a complete run on monologue.
 
Liesel is also just a completely killer character. I love her so much and her whole character arc. 

and man oh man, Orion broke my heart. The connection of the maw mouths to the enclaves to the prophesy from her great grandmother all came together in a spectacular way.

This was everything I could have wanted from the finale! My jaw was on the floor when I finished reading and I stared at a wall for half an hour, connecting all of the threads that came together by the last page. Masterful trilogy!
