This was really cute. This is a personal preference, but I don't love when characters say "I love you" in a novella length story if they just met. It always feels rushed and like instalove to me. I enjoyed the world building in this story and the romance was fun. I would definitely read more from this author.

OHMYGODDDDD, this is right up my alley. Not to take away from the author because, really, this is really something in its own right, but See Ya, Space Cowboy is reminiscent of Becky Chambers' Wayfarers series. I am so in love with this. Will absolutely reread. I've added it to my list of all-time favorites.
