I loved it

This was so good. I'm so glad I found this series. I love the way this author has you sucked in from page one and falling in love with each character. Again I loved it

Okay, the female lead character is a strong woman. A very strong one. That will become very clear during the story. Sometimes she acted extremely weird though; huge overreactions etc.

Nevertheless, I enjoyed reading it. This NA series is really fun. And cute.... Plus it has swoonworthy men.

Nope. I do not like it. The story is very confusing and typical NA soap opera. Miss McLaughlin losing her signature touch on Finding My Forever. Forever My Girl is still my favorite from this series. Finding My Forever is my least favorite from this series. The banter/ conversation between characters are stiff and have no emotional connection.

Even with Jimmy's family history, it still can not provoke my sympathy for this story. And Jenna is just... dramatic. The romance story between Jimmy and Jenna is insta lust. The baby drama makes the story worse.

I liked this story but not as much as the first two. There were a couple times that I thought it jumped around a bit. Jimmy was yummy of course! In the end I loved that there was an HEA.

I really love Heidi McLaughlin's Beaumont Series and I was so excited for Jimmy's story! I think this book is my favorite in the series. This book had everything - suspense, drama, love.... I love how Jimmy and Jenna's relationship evolved and it was so beautifully written. I love the alternating point of view and how much the characters from the other books are still involved in this story. I really hope there is going to be more in this series!

OMG they are perfect

I have loved all 3 couples so far. Jimmy and Jenna were such a whirlwind I kept expecting a crash and burn. So glad they didn’t. But good grief what is up with those crazy ass LA women and trying to blackmail the boys, yuck

Jenna is in for a rocky road. She has just discovered she is pregnant, decides not to tell the father because she doesn’t think he would be interested and her formerly abusive ex has found her.

Jimmy “J.D.” Davis cannot get Liam and Josie’s wedding out of his mind. He spent the night with someone who he cannot forget. But his ex wants him back.

When Jenna’s ex makes a move the band and wives spring into action to protect her.

Liam becomes irate when Jenna says she doesn’t want the father to know about the baby because of his missing out on Noah’s first ten years of life. He complains to Jimmy, who figures out it’s his baby.

He takes Jenna away from everything and marries her. Just when they find their groove, Jimmy’s ex tells him she is pregnant, and it’s his. Once he sorts that out, Jenna’s ex shoots him.

The heroines in this series seem to really buy into the promiscuous rock star trope and do not trust their partners. Jenna spends much of the beginning of the book convinced Jimmy will cheat on her, even with no evidence to corroborate this. As Josie tells her “He is Jimmy after all”; to what purpose I don’t know. When the band is about to go on tour Josie confides to Jenna that she’s sometimes still worries Liam will stray.

Most of the issues between this couple could easily have been solved if they’d had a proper conversation. There seems to be a disconnect between the characters inner thought and their actions.

I adored Josie in Forever My Girl but found her a little unlikable as a secondary character.

Jimmy’s father comes across as a typical ageing rock star whose bygone days were, perhaps too much fun and have led him to his sons ex.

The culmination of the baby’s birth and Jenna’s ex’s death wraps up the book nicely.

This book is so enjoyable that it is like a safe place, it is the second time I read it and I still love it.

First read:
It is a very cute book, Jimmy is one of the cutest things that can exist and he and his devotion to Jeena was so nice to read. They are such an uneven couple but they work very well although their communication problems drove me crazy half of the book and it seemed quite unnecessary, I know they both have their difficult past but they are adults and I expected that kind of behavior from a teenager not two adults and more when they know how complicated their relationship is.
In short, it is a great book to pass the time and it is enjoyable.

PS There is a place in hell only for people like Chalse and James, I hate those motherfuckers.
