This is definitely the best couple and best character development.
Honestly the way they all treat Zsadist you would think they had no idea of how survivors deal with pain and guilt.

Again, it’s trash and I’m a raccoon. The male vampire names are just so goofy. Z is relatable (oof what’s that say about me) and perhaps the first character that’s a little deeper. But there is an element of “trauma healed by the power of love,” which is… overly simplistic to say the least.

This book has SO MUCH STUFF that UNDER NORMAL CIRCUMSTANCES would have made me DNF INSTANTLY. SO MANY THINGS, friends. God. It compels me though. I have to keep going. I'm genuinely satisfied with the progression of Zsadist and Bella's relationship and Zsadist's healing process in general. DO I LIKE THAT HES HEALING BECAUSE OF LOVE? like not particularly. But I like that Bella gave him that jumping off point I guess???? Whatever I don't even know. I loved it

(You can definitely tell at the end that Ward was kind of of the mind that she didn't know if she still had a job - like, a contract to continue the series - because we had such a major time jump in the epilogue. Also. Butch and V. ifyky.)

1/5🌶️   Even though Zsadist and Bellas story has a dark beginning due to the trauma that Zsadist has and the fact that Bella was just in captivity with a lesser for 1.5 months. I am happy that Bella was able to help Zsadist heal. It was nice to see his and Phury reconnect as brothers as well. I kinda felt crazy though because the whole time Bella’s brother was brought up, I was confused about if he was also the club owner and drug dealer that Phury has been seeing. Thankfully that was actually confirmed in the last chapter of the book. I was a little pissed at first that they killed off Mr. X but it made sense since he wasn’t the main antagonist anymore. But when Mr. O died the same way I crashed out! But of course if I continued reading in like two pages he was alive again lol. And I was so happy that Bella was the one who killed him, she deserved that honour. I was Barry sad that Tors wife was killed by Mr. O and that the female John was getting close to also died. And then Tor just disappeared leaving John behind with the other brothers. On a happy note, out of all the brothers though I did not expect Zsadits to be the first with a kid, but he deserves it.

The third volume was by far my favorite out of the three! Z’s story left a deep impression on me — it was powerful and emotional. I absolutely devoured this book!
