They really need to add a “sexy” or “steamy” mood option to describe books like this because “lighthearted” doesn’t really cover it. Anyway, I’m not into polyamory, but in this book, the dynamic between Isabelle, Beast, and Gaeton just really did it for me.

Definitely the spiciest of the series thus far omg. Overall liked the plot (the little of it that there was) and I did enjoy the ending to an extent. Everything kinda magically worked out and didn’t love that. Not the best written compared to the others. I liked the couple. Each character felt very different from the other and their personalities really shown through. Would have liked to see more of beasts darkness and more of gaetons goofiness. Isabelle is the worst FMC in the series so far in my opinion. Lot I enjoyed but if you’re looking for plot look somewhere else

I've been reading these in order even though they could be standalones. if you prefer a particiular retelling jump in wherever but if you like reading them in order you have characters casually moving from one book to the next without affecting the story.
Beast was an interesting one, for a MMF retelling I thought it was done really well and respectful to the lifestyle, even though it's not my favorite troupe. I've liked this series as a twisted pallet cleanser between novels since these are lighter and spice things up. Book #1 - Desperate Measures is my favorite in the series so far.

I didn't care for the ending. all four have ended with someone held at gunpoint and getting into a getaway car. Maybe that's the point and it's just going over my head but I was hoping for unique endings instead of the inevitable....oh look... someone with a gun in the last 100 pages. Of course I'm going to read #5 and #6 since I've made it this far but im prepared for the ending. (hope I'm wrong!)

Why did she plagiarize herself and rewrite the ending of Learn My Lesson but with different characters... This literally made me feel like brain cells were being plucked out of me after every page. It was so redundant and boring compared to the previous books, which is so sad because Beauty & the Beast is my favorite Disney movie. Gaeton with his bigass heart is what made this 2 stars for me.

Ok so I liked most of it. Swords do cross yall. There is MM and FF stuff so if you don’t like that don’t read this. It was hot. I loved the club scene. Not sure about the angst and the junk but my girl surely knows how to write smut. Smex scenes were off the chart hot.
